Senior(Junior) Software Engineer

Responsibilities

* Design and develop modifications to View Client as necessary
* Mentor and potentially lead other team members
* Help prioritize, plan, and track projects
* Communicate and coordinate with other VMware R&D organizations and strategic partners

Requirements

* 5+(2+) years experience of commercial software product development
* Proven track-record of leadership
* Experience with software development in C/C++
* Experience with several different application development environments (Linux/GTK and Win32, and at least one mobile platform such as Symbian, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile)
* Excellent design, programming and debugging skills
* Strong analytical skills, good judgment, passion for your work
* Proven communication skills
* BSCS, MSCS or equivalent

Pluses
* Formal management experience
* Experience with remote display protocols (RDP, ICA, RGS, etc), high-performance 2D/3D graphics, or remote device integration
* Experience with Networking (WAN) and/or video compression, image compression, streaming media, or low-level optimization
* Experience with non-x86 chip architectures (ARM, MIPS)
